With the aim of educating children belonging to economically weaker families and making them better citizens of society, Our Shikshalay started in July 2009 in Ujariyaon, Gomti Nagar Lucknow.

We are working to bring children from the neglected sections of the society such as garbage collectors, child laborers, Street begging children, etc. and we are continuing our efforts to connect them with the mainstream education so that they can be responsible citizens of the future.
Nearly 250 children are being benefitted from this initiative every year. To help these children, the entire organization is working everyday to improve our programme keeping in mind of the Sustainable Development Goals 4  and 10: Quality education and Reduced Inequalities.
